Contents
1. Better Display
Huawei Honor 8 Pro comes with a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560 X 1440 pixels) 2K Display. On the other hand, BlackBerry KEYone comes with a 4.5 inch Full HD (1620 x 1080 pixels) display with scratch resistance. The Honor 8 Pro offers a superior display, in terms of size, contrast and visibility.
2. 4G VoLTE Support
With VoLTE being the future of cellular calls, it will soon redefine the technology of high definition calls. Huawei Honor 8 Pro supports 4G VoLTE right out of the box, but BlackBerry KEYone only supports 4G LTE but not VoLTE calling.
3. Better Camera
Huawei Honor 8 Pro sports a 12MP + 12MP Dual Camera (Telephoto Lens and Wide Angle Lens) with 4K Video support and has an aperture range of f/0.95 to f/16. On the other hand, BlackBerry KEYone comes equipped with a single Sony IMX 378 sensor with PDAF and 4K video recording support. The shots from KEYone are good, but not good as Honor 8 Pro. The dual camera on Honor 8 Pro helps to take sharp and crisp shots, even in low lighting conditions.
4. Enhanced Performance
Huawei Honor 8 Pro packs in the Kirin s960 Octa Core Processor clocking at 2.40 GHz with 6GB of RAM on board (also has 4GB variant) and BlackBerry KEYone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa Core processor clocking at 2.00 GHz with 4GB of RAM on board. Both the devices offer a seamless performance, but the Honor 8 Pro has the edge when it comes to hard-core gaming and extensive multitasking.
5. Storage
BlackBerry KEYone has launched only a single variant in India, 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage. Huawei Honor 8 Pro has two variants. The 4GB variant has 64GB of storage and 6GB variant has 128GB of storage. Both phones have the option to expand storage, Honor 8 up to 256GB and Blackberry KEYone up to 2TB, but the extra inbuilt storage on the Honor 8 is always a plus, both in terms of convenience and overall device performance.
6. Better Battery
Blackberry KEYone packs in a 3505 mAh non removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 Support. On the other hand, Honor 8 Pro comes with a 4000 mAh non removable battery. Though it would be really hard to compare, as both perform really well in terms of battery consumption, but still Honor 8 Pro would stay a step ahead with a bigger battery.
7. Price
This is the clincher. Blackberry KEYone comes with a price tag of around Rs. 40,000/-, whereas Huawei Honor 8 Pro, which has more features and better specs costs only around Rs. 30,000-, which makes Honor 8 Pro a clear winner over Blackberry KEYone.
