Airtel Broadband

Airtel Broadband has just crossed a major milestone: 20 lakh registered users across India. On this occasion, they want to surprise you with benefits related with data and movies.

And going by the looks of it, it seems that they know how to make their users happy. Is Jio taking note here?

Free Data & Free Movies For Airtel Broadband Users

As per TRAI’s data for November, Airtel managed to cross 2 million users. While BSNL is still #1 with 9.95 million broadband customers, Airtel has 2.03 million users,

Atria Convergence Technologies had 1.14 million users, MTNL had 1.05 million and YOU Broadband 0.60 million customers.

To celebrate this news, existing Airtel broadband users can get free data top-up on their existing plans.

However, how much free data is part of this special package hasn’t been announced.

Users from different circles and areas would get different free offers.

In order to check how much data your Airtel plan can get, you can visit this special mini-portal created by Airtel, and check your eligibility and free offer.

In a statement, Bharti Airtel (India) CEO – Homes, Hemanth Kumar Guruswamy said, “We are happy to cross this milestone of 2 million customers… therefore, we are delighted to bring the latest ‘Airtel Surprises’ for them. With these additional benefits, our customers will be able to do much more with their existing plans,”

Besides, these users who are eligible can also access more than 10,000 movies on Airtel’s platform for free, for a specific period.

Terms & Conditions For This Offer

First of all, this offer is only for old customers who had registered before December 31, 2016. Newer Airtel broadband customers need to wait a bit more for their free surprises.

Besides, the eligible Airtel customers must redeem this offer on or before February 26th, 2017, after which the offers would cease to exist.

And, after registering for the free offer, in case you chose to change your existing broadband plan, then all benefits would expire as Airtel is now allowing any mid-way change of plan.

Last year as well, Airtel Broadband had offered 5 GB of Free Data for all home broadband users under ‘myHome Rewards’.

In the wake of competition from Jio’s new broadband services, Airtel has been making quite a few splashes in order to lure new customers. For instance, in December last year, Airtel had offered free 3 months of broadband Internet, besides launching 100 Mbps wireline broadband service at Rs 999 per month.

Broadband war is slowly, but gradually catching up, and it would be now fought between Airtel, BSNL and Jio. Who would be the eventual winner? Do let us know by commenting right here!
