Reliance Jio Introduces JioFiber 4G Internet Services With 3 Months Free Usage To Housing Societies

Reliance Jio Service are going to bring a revolution in terms of speed at which internet is accessed and price at which it is offered – atleast that’s what many who have some knowledge of what Reliance is doing think.

Last week, we were able to access Reliance Jio preview site that also confirmed that ultra-high speed internet may be a reality in India and at a price that is affordable to all.

Now, we have a anonymous tipster who has sent us scan of pages that reveal that Reliance Jio internet services are being pitched in certain housing societies (most probably in Mumbai, though we do not have any confirmation).

The scanned letters sent to us show that Reliance Jio has requested these housing societies to be part of JioFiber, their ultra-fast broadband service.

Here is what letter states to the housing societies:

This is an opportunity for the residents of your society, to experience services like top end homes and societies do around the world and explore the possibilities of high speed internet that India has not experienced before. JioFiber is unique – it will offer an unprecedented customer experience powered by ultrafast broadband speeds and this at a very attractive and competitive rates. You will be opening up your residents’ world to an interrupted experience of watching Ultra HD movies, making video calls right from your TVs, downloading songs and uploading their photos instantly. Many more exciting services will follow in near future.

As a promotional offer, Reliance Jio is giving 3 months of complimentary usage of ultrafast Broadband services to the housing societies who enroll into this offer.

Here is what they get.

Reliance Jio Services

Reliance Jio has not announced the actual rates that will be applicable after initial 3 month period is over. However, in all probability it is going to be quite competitive. The rates are expected to be announced on 28th December 2014.

Here are the scanner letter that Reliance Jio is sending across to housing societies. You can also check the housing request acceptance letter that a society (See Page 3) has to sign for enrolling into Reliance JioFiber Services!

bangalore awready has ACT broadband giving 60 MBPS…its pretty decent despite a few hitches and 100 GB download fup is great…will be interested to see relinace jio and the price war…pvery sure 250 gb FUP and 100 MBPS will be norm by next year

        1. Sai says

Even ACT will bow down to Jio, because ACT has unreliable cabling and Poor Customer service.
I am seeing 200 Gb FUP limit minimum with 50-100mbps speed under 1k after 2 years from this date.

        2. Ashish says

The war will be between only Airtel and Jio… ACT, G and Hathway and all other fake provider will be Vanished very soon… only Airtel and Jio can have reach and ability to provide prompt and Good services…
