Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, the very popular social media applications owned by Facebook, have crashed yet again worldwide.

Twitter, the only social media platform that is working fine currently, is now being flooded with users’ complaints, memes and what not.

The outages have been reported around 11:40 am ET/8:40 am PT and started trending on twitter instantly as well. 

This time, the outages of these apps have been noticed worldwide, whereas, sometimes they are caused in the United States, the UK, Brazil, Kuwait, and more.

Whatsapp has released a statement on the outage of the app, which says, “We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible.” 

DNS Related Issues In Facebook Servers

However, nothing has been heard from Facebook, the owner of these apps. Some reports have suggested that the outage has happened in relevance to some sort of DNS problem affecting Facebook servers.

The shares of the zuckerberg owned Facebook Inc have fallen sharply as a result. They now stand at 322.91 USD, down by 20.10 (5.86%) today.

This is not the first time this year social networking apps have suffered an outage. In March, Whatsapp and Instagram users all across the globe reported a massive outage of services. Users were not able to send messages, receive messages on Whatsapp, as all the messages and chats were left undelivered.
