After a long break, we are moving towards a normal life. Work from home has saved many, has been the trend for 2020 and we will never forget how it made us feel.

Some had to work for more hours while some felt it was the best thing that happened. Still, some people want to work from home as they are getting more time to spend with their family while some want the office environment back!

Recently TCS has announced that it is moving from work from home to work from the office. Not only TCS but many other companies like Wipro, TCS, HCL Tech resume work from the office. By the end of this year or the beginning of next year, the corporation plans to call 90% of its employees back to work.

Earlier in July, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, the country’s biggest outsourcer, said that it hoped to vaccinate all its employees and their families by September.

“Recognizing that vaccination was our best bet to an early return to normalcy, we undertook a pan-India vaccination drive that began in May. Also, 70% of the company’s staff had been fully or partially vaccinated so far”, said   -Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Gopinathan

TCS 25*25 Model

Milind Lakkad, global head, human resources had said that TCS created a blueprint, Vision 25/25 to ensure that 25 per cent of its employees were present only 25 per cent of the time in offices to be 100 per cent productive.

TCS plans to put through the hybrid model 25×25 wherein by 2025, only 25% of its associates will need to work out of facilities at any point in time. According to the model, employees won’t be spending more than 25 per cent of their time at work.

What About The Safety?

TCS Safe Workplace Method

Are you aware of this?

TCS Safe Workplace technique aims to provide a smooth workplace by monitoring a safe, secure and productive work environment.

The method measures employee readiness, workplace climate, and workforce model. It comes with a dashboard and a collection of apps for gathering feedback as well as automating return-to-work activities like contract tracing, shift management, and workspace design.

An organisation can also proactively alter its processes to avoid challenges that may disrupt business as usual by recognising pandemic zone hotspots and enabling fact-based decision-making.
