E-commerce firm Flipkart is all set to introduce a separate marketplace model ‘Flipkart Xtra’ to give flexible earning opportunities to individuals, service agencies and technicians according to its statement on Wednesday.

This new platform will be offered through the app ‘Flipkart Xtra’ also available on the Google play store.
For the interested individuals, Flipkart will provide an onboarding experience that includes downloading the app and sharing information for background verification.
In the coming months, individuals will be able to onboard themselves for various roles such as delivery executives, service partners or technicians.
Ahead of the festive season and the company’s ‘Big Billion Days’ sale, this new platform will scale up in the coming months.
