Heavy Demand For Train Tickets: Railways Add Extra Coaches In These 26 Trains (Full List Of Trains)

As the number of Covid-19 cases show a slight decrease, the economy appears to be steadily and cautiously treading on the paths of recovery. Hospitality and travel sectors too are seeing slight levels of recovery.

Indian Railways resumed some special trains from June 2021, which were earlier suspended due to the second wave of pandemic in the country.

As passengers increasingly start to use railway train services, the Indian Railways has decided to implement certain changes in the rake structure for 15 pairs of special trains.

While there will be coaches added to 13 trains as a temporary measure to make the whole travelling easier, two trains will permanently be dispensed of extra coaches.

Here is a complete list of all such pairs of trains.

• Train number 02587, Gorakhpur-Jammu Tawi Weekly Special Train: from July 5 to November 29. 
• 02588 Jammu Tawi-Gorakhpur Weekly Special Train: from July 10 to December 4, 2021.
• 05097 Bhagalpur-Jammutvi weekly special train: from July 8 2021 to November 25.
• 05098 Jammu Tawi – Bhagalpur’s weekly special train: from July 6 to November 23.
• 05015 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur’s weekly special train: from July 5 to November 29.
• 05016 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur weekly special train: from July 7 to December 1.
