Kia Seltos Top Variant: Gravity Launching In India On This Date; But Panoramic Sunroof Is Missing

As we know, Kia Motors India is all set to launch a new car on 27 April, thanks to its ‘Block your date’ invites.

Kia Seltos Gravity Launch

So far, Kia has not much revealed about exactly what it intends to launch or introduce on the aforementioned date.

However, the new teaser released by Kia may be telling another story.

Yes, you guessed it right. The teaser offers some clues about the South Korean automaker’s new launch.

The automaker seemed to have teased the Kia Seltos Gravity edition in India.

In July last year, Kia launched the Seltos Gravity model in South Korea.

This is also to be the new top-end variant in the range.

This model is expected to come with a longer list of features, a handful of cosmetic updates, and more.

Also, the 2021 Seltos will bear the company’s new logo and to our surprise, won’t be offering a panoramic sunroof, but the SUV will retain the outgoing model’s electric sunroof.

Exterior Features

The newly launched Kia Seltos is expected to sport a blacked-out grille with chrome surrounds, a muscular bonnet, a wide air dam, and twin exhaust tips on the back.

It will have sleek LED headlights with DRLs, wrap-around LED tail lights, and LED fog lights for the lighting.

The car will be flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and designer alloy wheels, on the sides.

In addition to that, the new Kia Seltos variant will come equipped with silver finish for the outside rearview mirrors, dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels with new design, new rear skid plate, etc.

Interior Design

The inside of the Seltos Gravity will come sporting a grey colour scheme.

Although, the layout will remain the same as that seen in the rest of the range.

The Kia Seltos (facelift) shall house a spacious 5-seater cabin with ventilated leather seats, a power steering wheel, an electric sunroof, and automatic climate control.

For entertainment, it will offer a touchscreen infotainment console with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Along with that, multiple airbags, an engine immobilizer, crash sensors, a rear-view camera, and ABS with EBD will be available for the safety of the passengers.

For the transmission, it is handled by a 6-speed manual/automatic, an IVT, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

So far, the pricing and availability details of the 2021 Kia Seltos is not revealed. But it will be announced on April 27 in India.

But it is expected to carry a slight premium over the outgoing model which starts at Rs. 9.89 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
