iPhone users need to immediately update to iOS 14.4.2 to fix a major security flaw in Apple’s WebKit. A has been found in the company’s WebKit, said to have been actively exploited by scammers. Apple officially recommended users to install the latest 14.4.2 update immediately which will fix the security flaw in WebKit. Processing malicious web content can lead to universal cross site scripting, the support page said. All iPhone and iPad users must positively install the iOS 14.4.2 update, now available for iPhone 6s and later, all iPad Pro models, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad Mini and later and iPod Touch (7th generation).
iOS 14.4.2 update is available alongside the WatchOS 7.3.3 for Apple Watch. Apple also said the update ahead of iOS 14.5 update has a number of new changes.
iOS 14.5 release is expected sometime from now. It will have a bunch of new features like unlocking your iPhone using Apple Watch, App Tracking Transparency feature and Access App-related Data tracking. To install the iOS 14.4.2 update, you need to go into Settings, then click on General and then hit the Software Update button. Recommended urgently.
