As per the newest reports coming in, one of the UK’s leading mobile network carriers, Three UK has opted to go with Tata Consultancy Services to configure its mobile network for the ongoing 5G services rollout.

TCS To Work With UK’s Three UK To Provide 5G Network
Three UK is already working on employing a new 5G radio access network and it is already live in 175 towns and cities in the UK. TCS will also be given the responsibility of configuring a new core next generation mobile network and integrating it correctly with the 5G radio access network.
The work responsibility for TCS will be the configuration of the core network for new site deployments, site upgrades, performance management, and 3G and 4G tuning changes.
As per a statement issued by the leading IT services provider, “TCS’ software will speed-up configuration checking and reduce manual errors, ensuring first-time right network configuration. TCS is also providing 24×7 support across the network for configuration corrections and ad-hoc site testing. These improvements will help Three deliver faster, secure and more reliable 5G services to its customers.”
New Partnership Will Help Provide Better Experience To The Customers
Whereas, Carlo Melis, Chief Networks Officer, Three UK has said that the company’s 5G roll out is built on a strong foundation of agility in bringing the services to the appropriate market. He justified the partnership with TCS by stating the need to deliver at pace and being flexible at the same time to changing demands.
Carol Wilson, Head, Communications, Media and Information Services Business -Europe and UK, TCS, has also said that the new partnership will help Three’s network to continue to provide a better experience that is expected by the customers.
As of now, TCS is in charge of providing different services to Three UK for the past 15 years. In fact, Three UK was the UK’s first 3G only network and has more than 9.5 million customers across the UK. the share of TCS is up by 0.24 per cent or Rs 7.65 to Rs. 3,241 as compared to the previous session close of Rs 3,233.35.
