BSNL Offers Free Installation Of Broadband, Landline

Albeit not for everyone, but BSNL has triggered a new price war, with free installation of broadband and FTTH connections, along with landline plans.

Users from Kerala who have cancelled their broadband and/or FTTH (Fiber to the home) plans before September 30th, can get absolutely free installation of broadband connection.

As of now, the offer is only applicable for users in Kerala, but some reports indicate that the offer can be rolled out for all users, soon.

There has been no confirmation from BSNL on this, and we are only speculating.

Installation charges are expensive, and can take upto Rs 5000 in some cases, for new broadband connections.

Hence, by waiving off this charge for broadband plans, BSNL has offered a big discounted deal.

The users in Kerela can also get free installation for landline connections, and the rules are same: If they have disconnected before September 30th.

BSNL Broadband Getting New Lease Of Life

Recently, BSNL rolled out new and exciting plans for broadband users, and the response they received was encouraging.

Users are getting upto 200 Mbps speed, and 4-5TB of data, with plans starting from Rs 499 per month.

If they give more add-ons like free installation and more, then BSNL can actually snatch away market share from Jio and Airtel.

And this will make the things more interesting.

We will keep you updated, as more details come in.
