The government owned telecommunications service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced an apprentice selection program for its Haryana circle. For the same, it has released a notification mentioning the last date to apply for the program (if one meets all the requirements) no later than July 19, 2022.

Also, as per the notification, the vacancies for the position of apprentice are 44. This is for apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961.

Details About BSNL’s Apprenticeship Program

The program is available for the telecom company’s Haryana circle and will hire 44 candidates for the position. The proposed engagement will be in the fields of Sales & Marketing and CFA/CM/EB.

The program will span for 12 months and a stipend of Rs 8,000 will be given to candidates every month.

The highlight is that there is no fee charged for applying for the program.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for Apprenticeship Program?

#1. The candidate should not be more than 25 years of age.

#2. Upper age relaxation will be provided in this manner:

  • Upto 3 years for OBC applicants
  • Upto 13 years for OBC-PWD applicants
  • Upto 5 years for SC candidates
  • Upto 15 years for SC-PWD applicants
  • Upto 10 years for OC-PWD candidates

#3. Candidates already undergoing apprenticeship or who have already gone through it and/or those having experience will not be eligible to apply.

#4. Candidates should have Graduate (Technical/Non-Technical) and Diploma in any stream.

Where to Apply?

Candidates who tick-off all the pointers of eligibility can apply for the program through BOAT’s government portal: www.mhrdnats.gov.in on or before July 19, 2022 (tentative date).

Candidates need to assure that they have not completed/undergoing/finished their apprenticeship mid-way or pursuing their apprenticeship because such applicants would not be eligible.
