Poco X3

Poco X3 India launch is on September 7. Poco X3 will be the world’s first smartphone to come with Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 732G SoC. The device will include a 64MP quad-camera, 5,160mAh battery, 33W fast charging and a 6.6-inch LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate. It has been officially confirmed that Poco X3 will come with a 64MP main camera sensor, expected to be the Sony IMX686 64MP unit. Poco X3 battery can be charged fully in 65 minutes, meaning the device will ship with a 33W charger.

The Poco FCC listing also revealed the rear design. There’s a huge POCO branding as well at the bottom. Poco X3 price in India will probably start somewhere around Rs 17,000 for the base model. Xiaomi will unveil multiple Poco X3 variants with different storage versions. Poco X3 Flipkart availability can also be pre-confirmed given the brand’s tie with Flipkart since Poco F1.

OnePlus Budget Phone: Nord Lite

An upcoming OnePlus phone has been leaked online, but with some peculiar specs. It isn’t OnePlus 8T or OnePlus 9 or any OnePlus phone running on the top-end Snapdragon processor. It’s surprisingly a budget OnePlus smartphone found with entry-level Snapdragon 460 SoC, a budget Qualcomm chip launched earlier in the year. The new OnePlus phone is the second to leak this month after another OnePlus phone was found to be running on Snapdragon 690 5G SoC, tipped to be OnePlus Nord Lite 5G. 

OnePlus may come up with multiple Nord phones for different line-ups. The new OnePlus phone is tipped to be the most affordable from OnePlus ever.

Recently a leak revealed an affordable OnePlus device with support for downgraded 18W fast charging. The upcoming budget OnePlus device could be the one with entry level features. The budget OnePlus phone will be a part of the Nord series. The company already unveiled the original OnePlus Nord last month in the country.

Realme 7 / Realme X7

Realme 7 series will be unveiled in India on September 3. Realme 7, Realme 7 Pro will be available in India via Flipkart. Realme 7 will come with octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chip with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal UFS 2.1 storage It runs Android 10-based Realme UI and packs a 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperDart fast-charging support. Realme 7 will sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED 1080p display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The fingerprint sensor is embedded under the display.

Realme 7 has a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with 119-degree FOV, a 2-megapixel black-and-white camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. If you are into selfies, you will be happy the Realme X7 has a 32-megapixel front camera housed inside the punch-hole. Realme 7 price in India is expected to remain in the INR 15,000 to 18,000 bracket.

Realme 7 Pro / Realme X7 Pro

Realme 7 Pro price in India may cross the INR 20,000 category in the mid-range segment. Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro India prices will fall in the sub Rs 20,000 category. Realme 7 Pro will have a 6.55-inch Super-AMOLED 1080p display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate in a 20:9 aspect ratio. Realme 7 Pro will be powered by a more capable Dimensity 1000+ 5G processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

Realme 7 Pro cameras will include a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor, a 119-degree ultrawide 8-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel portrait sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Realme 7 Pro will have a 32-megapixel camera and slightly bigger 4500mAh battery with 65W SuperDart fast-charging support.

Asus Zenfone 7, Zenfone 7 Pro (Asus 7Z, Asus 7Z Pro)

Asus ZenFone 7, ZenFone 7 Pro has been unveiled internationally. In India, the devices may come as Asus 7Z and Asus 7Z Pro. Coming to specs, the standard ZenFone 7 sports a 6.67-inch FullHD+ offering 2400 × 1080 resolution. It’s a HDR+ AMOLED display in an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 90Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ support. Asus ZenFone 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Plus 865 chipset paired with Adreno 650 GPU.  Asus Zenfone 7 comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. 

In comparison, ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED offering 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, Asus ZenFone 7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC paired, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The rest of the specifications for both ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro are similar including the cameras, battery and other specs.

Both the Zenfone 7 models have a motorized triple camera setup. The triple camera setup includes a 64MP wide-angle Sony IMX686 sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX363 ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telescope lens with 3x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom along with an LED flash. The ZenFone 7 models house a sizable 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. 

Oppo F17, Oppo F17 Pro

The Oppo F17 series will launch in India on September 2. The company has officially confirmed that the upcoming Oppo F17 series will go official in the country in September. The upcoming Oppo phones in India will come with top-end features on-board running on mid-range chips. The F17 series by Oppo will include two phones: Oppo F17 and Oppo F17 Pro models. The Pro model will be packing in the best of the features with a better camera and processor.

Oppo F17 and Oppo F17 Pro price has already been leaked. Oppo F17 price for each model is said to come under Rs 25,000. The company will target the sub-18,000 and sub-24,000 segment in the Indian market with Oppo F17 and Oppo F17 Pro respectively.

Oppo F17 will be a mid-range smartphone while Oppo F17 Pro is said to be taking on the newly launched OnePlus Nord and Realme X3. Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo 17 Pro will come with a 48MP quad-camera setup and 16MP Dual Depth selfie camera system. The standard OPPO F17 will launch with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ sAMOLED display, Snapdragon 662 chipset, 16MP quad-camera setup and 30W fast charging support.

iPhone 12

Leaked Apple 12 prices by My Drivers (via GizChina) gave us the first expected iPhone 12 prices. The iPhone 12 series will start at $649 (around Rs 49,220). OnePlus 8 comes at a similar price in the Western markets. In the US, the OnePlus 8 price starts at $699 (around Rs 53,090). Even the last iPhone 11 series came at a starting price of $699 (around Rs 53,090 approximately).

So, iPhone 12 is going to be cheaper than both current OnePlus 8 and even the predecessor, iPhone 11. Further, the report claims the iPhone 12 with 6.1-inch OLED screen model and LiDAR sensors will be priced at $999 (around Rs 95,750).

Realme V3 5G 

Realme V3 5G is currently the cheapest 5G phone available right now. Realme V3 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display alongside a water drop notch. Realme V3 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. It comes in three storage options: 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. Coming to optics, Realme V3 houses a 13MP main camera, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront Realme V3 sports an 8MP front snapper. Finally, Realme V3 packs in a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Realme V3 5G India launch may happen or not given 5G is not yet available in India. Though Realme was the first company to announce a 5G phone in India, it can again bring another one in the budget category. As Realme X50 Pro 5G, the company may launch Realme V3 5G in India. 

Google Pixel 4a

Google Pixel 4a India launch will happen either in September or October. It’s a great phone on budget, and the latest Google Pixel 4a can take on the likes of OnePlus Nord, iPhone SE 2020, Redmi K20 Pro and Realme X3 SuperZoom in the country in the sub-30,000 budget segment. Pixel 4a in India may cost Rs 29,999. Pixel 4a will come to India by the fall.

Google Pixel 4A features a 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a punch-hole.

Pixel 4A is powered by the mid-range Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 730 SoC. At the back, the Google midrange smartphone will feature a single camera at the back, a 12.2-megapixel rear shooter.

There will be an 8-megapixel front-facing camera paired. The system will come with upto 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Pixel 4A will have eSIM support. The device will house a 3,080mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Pixel 4a India price is expected at Rs 29,999, or probably in and around the same pricing segment.

Mi 10 Ultra

Mi 10 Ultra is a big success in China. Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra went on sale in China and the company claimed it sold out a $57.7 million shipment in the first ten minutes. If compared, the first sales of Mi 10 Pro only half of the same. The total Mi 10 Ultra sales can range from 57,000 to 75,500 thousand units. Xiaomi celebrated 10 years of making smartphones with the special edition Mi 10 Ultra. The device has been labelled as the super-premium flagship from Xiaomi.

It directly challenges the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. Mi 10 Ultra features 120Hz refresh rate display, 50W wireless charging and 120W wired fast charging. Around the back, Mi 10 Ultra packs a periscope module with a large 48MP sensor and 120x digital zoom, larger 48MP primary shooter, shorter telephoto unit and a 13mm ultrawide camera.

Galaxy M51

Galaxy M51 is now official. Samsung Galaxy M51 will come with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display from CSOT with Infinity-O punch-hole cutout. In terms of optics, Galaxy M51 will feature a quad-camera system at the back sporting a 64MP primary shooter. Under the hood, Galaxy M51 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC under the hood paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB, can be further expanded using a microSD card.

Galaxy M51 has a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro camera. It has a 32-megapixel lens upfront. Lastly, Samsung Galaxy M51 packs in the much talked about 7,000mAh battery with fast-charging support (upto 25W). 

Mi Note 10 Lite / Mi 10i

Mi Note 10 Lite may launch in India as Mi 10i. Yes, that’s what the recent leak says. Tipped by XDA, it has been found that Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone especially for the Indian market with the codename “tocoin”. The device has been spotted in the June 2020 code, hence Mi 10i India launch could be imminent. Mi Note 10 Lite was unveiled in China in late April alongside Redmi Note 9. The company unveiled the latter recently, and now it’s time for Mi 10i. 

Mi Note 10 Lite is a camera-centric value-for-money device offering a 64MP quad-camera setup backed by premium features. Mi Note 10 Lite in India will be rebranded as Mi 10i. The company will place Mi 10i as a spiritual successor to the Redmi K20 in the sub-20,000 segment.
