Poco M2 India Lauch On Sept 8: Price Under-Rs 10,000? Cheapest Poco Smartphone?

Officials from Poco have confirmed that Poco M2 will be launching on September 8th in India. Speculations are rife that Poco M2 can be their 1st ever budget smartphone priced under Rs 10,000.

C Manmohan, General Manager at Poco India has confirmed the launch of Poco M2 in India on September 8th. His tweet also confirmed that the sale will go live on Flipkart exclusively.

On Flipkart, a new page has been put on for the teaser of Poco M2, which shares several interesting details about this new smartphone.

Poco M2 Pro was launched in July and has received very good response.

Now, it’s expected that Poco M2 will be Poco’s cheapest budget smartphone in India, and can be priced below Rs 10,000 mark.

Poco M2 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999.

Poco M2 Will Be Cheapest Poco Phone In India?

An entry-level Redmi smartphone with model number M2004J19I had been tracked at various certification portals, and it eventually turned out to be Remi 9 Prime, which was launched last month in India.

Some tech observers are stating that this new Poco M2 can be a slightly altered version of this phone, aided with the hallmark Poco features and branding.

Since Redmi 9 Prime has been priced at Rs 9999, and Poco M2 Pro is already priced at Rs 13,999, we are expecting that Poco M2 will be cheapest Poco brand smartphone, and priced under Rs 10,000.
