As per reports, the bridge will have a central span of 467 meters and will be built at a height of 359 meters from the sea level. The Eiffel Tower is just 35 meters shorter at 324 meters, whereas the Qutub Minar in Delhi is 72 meters in height.

He also said that the project will generate local employment and boost the local economy.
As revealed by the Deputy Chief Engineer RR Malik, who is also the product manager, the deadline for this project has been set to 2022. He said that given the geography in which the bridge is being built, it is not an easy job.
The Konkan Railway Corporation Limited is in charge of developing this project. Also, this bridge will be a part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project.
