The globally popular video game, PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) has recorded yet another record to its name – the game has more than 400 million downloads and 50 million users playing the game daily. And as revealed by the PUBG Mobile’s parent company, Tencent Games, these numbers are outside of China, which makes this an even bigger feat!

PUBG Mobile has also been recognised as the Best Game of 2018 by Google, and now this! The fame and popularity of PUBG are ever-increasing and the game creators are making sure it stays that way through their updates.

Talking about updates, Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation has released a new and exciting update for the much-loved video game. PUBG Mobile now comes with a ‘team deathmatch gameplay’ update. In a first of its kind move, PUBG mobile now has a 4v4 battle mode for fast-paced firefights as well!

Upgraded Control Settings

The FPP (First Person Perspective) and TPP (Third Person Perspective) will now come with control settings that will serve the purpose of increasing the on-screen control customization. There will also be a button meant only for vaulting and climbing.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters Theme

There will be a new Godzilla theme in the lobby background, along with thematic events, rewards, and more!

This is just another part of the collab that is happening between the PUBG MOBILE and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Vikendi Footprints

There will be the addition of footprints in the snow of the tundra Vikendi map, with which the players will now be able to spy and track the movements of their enemies.

Third-Party Anti-Cheat System

To prevent cheating and deception, there will be emulators and modifiers that will detect and report any such behaviour.

Fresh Achievement Challenges

The new update enables players to challenge themselves to in-game trials for the new mode. This includes initial and final kills, number of victories, and much more!

Additional Social Features

There will be several new features that belong to the social category of the game, such as MVP showcases at the ends of matches, upgrades to the portable closet system, popularity gift rewards, charisma ratings and more.

PUBG says about the new update, “PUBG MOBILE is introducing a new “Gameplay Management” system to encourage players to enjoy a sustainable and balanced PUBG MOBILE experience. Players will be requested to confirm their age to activate the Gameplay Management when they login for the first time, while players under the age of 18 have to acknowledge a gaming advisory before they can start the game.”

The new update is definitely thrilling, and will make the game even more mind-blowing than ever before!
