As 2018 draws to an end, Google India has kept the tradition alive and released the ‘Best of 2018’ list. In this, Google displays a list of all the apps, games, movies, books, TV series, audio books and songs that have received majority votes or have been sold the most on Google Play.

Top 5 Movies of 2018
In the list of top five movies, Hichki, a Rani Mukerji starrer which was also the third all-time highest grossing Indian Film led by a female protagonist, stands in line with four other Hollywood productions. The other four along with Hichki are Black Panther, Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle, Justice League, Deadpool 2.
Top 5 Games of 2018
PUBG Mobile, clearly the most loved action game ever, was declared the Best Game of 2018, Battlelands Royale being awarded the Most Innovative and Ludo King won the Best Casual Game of 2018.
Top 5 Books of 2018
The list of Top Five Books of 2018 was dominated by Indian authors. ‘Calling Sehmat’ by Harinder Sikka, which was the book on which the Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi, was based on, is one of the top sold books. ‘How to Make Money in Intraday Trading’ by Ashwani Gujral, ‘Hands on Computer Science and IT’ by Prof. Neelima, ‘Factfulness: Ten reasons we’re wrong about the world – and why things are better than you think.’ by Hans Rosling are the other names on the list.

Drops: Learn 31 new languages topped the list in the Best App of 2018 category, with over one million downloads. TikTok got a shoutout for being the Most Entertaining App, and Unfold – Create Stories won the Best Hidden Gems title.
