Endorsed by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, Vivo has launched their newest mid-range flagship: Vivo V15 Pro. Being one of the first smartphones in this range to have a 32- mega pixel pop-up camera, the buzz around this phone is quite high.

Did it live up to the expectations? What are the other USPs of this smartphone?

We did a hands-on review of this smartphone, and checkout what is the buzz all about!

Here is the video of the hands-on review:

Vivo V15 Pro Main USP: First Impressions

First thing first. The appearance is impressive. When you hold the phone, its gently curved edges makes it a solid grip.

The phone is not small, at all. It has a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Ultra FullView Display, but still, there is a massive presence of bezel all around.

There are lots of positives: For instance, the direct access button to Google Lens or Vivo’s Jovi image recognition. Besides, the magnificent Gradient style colorways add a dash of glamour to the whole package. The way shades change from cold black to bright electric blue catches your attention.

The ripple type design underneath perfectly compliments the design. Full marks to that.

Having said that, the ergonomics have some flaws, all right. For instance, the volume button seems a bit tough to navigate, without looking at the visual clues.

But overall, it’s a nice phone to touch and feel. Aesthetics has some solid value-addition.

32 Mega Pixel Pop-up Selfies Camera: The Primary USP

In our option, the 32 MP Pop-up selfie camera wins the day for Vivo V15 Pro. At this price range, this pop-up selfie camera is a killer feature, and the main USP.

As soon as triggered, the selfie camera pops up in half a second and will initiate face recognition without wasting any time.

At the same time, its rear camera is also one of the biggest features: Rear side has three cameras: 48 MP and 8 MP plus 5 MP camera.

We clicked a few images, and the pictures were impressive with sharp colors and edge detections in portrait mode.

We will give full marks to the camera and picture quality, and if you are selfie-obsessed or want to mark an impression on social media with your visual creativity, then here is the phone for you.

Vivo V15 Pro: Hardware Observations

This is Vivo’s first phone with Snapdragon 675 processor, and that adds to the overall charm of the smartphone. The hardware is a combination of efficiency as six Kryo 460 Silver cores clocked at 1.7GHz and two Kryo 460 Gold cores at 2.0GHz together give it a solid push.

The chip uses an Adreno 612 GPU, which is an upgrade from Adreno 512 which was present in the Snapdragon 660.

Globally, the phone has been launched in two variants: 6 GB and 8 GB, and the memory is capped at 128 GB for both the versions. In India, only the 6GB version will be launched.

Playing games, and opening multiple apps won’t pose any problem, in our view.

Overall, priced at Rs. 28,990 (Topaz Blue and Ruby Red colour options) for the lone 6GB/128GB combination, Vivo V15Pro is a good, decent and solid mid-range smartphone.
