Mobile Wallet Transactions Increased 40 Times In India In Last 5 Years

Demonetization happened back in 2016, which triggered the use of mobile wallets in the country. The Indian digital economy grew at 1.5 times faster than the global average. Moreover, according to National Cyber Security Coordinator in the PMO Gulshan Rai, mobile wallet transactions in the country have increased 40 times in the last five years, opening up gates for a widespread cashless economy.

Samsung Foldable Smartphone Will Launch With Galaxy S10

The much-hyped Samsung foldable smartphone will launch at the same Unpacked event alongside Galaxy S10 on February 20. The Reliance Jio GigaFiber services may again not launch in it’s time. The broadband services were said to go live in March, but the Jio GigaFiber services has been delayed again. Reliance Jio GigaFiber will be available commercially later this year, but no one knows when. The beta testing continues in multiple cities, but the pan-India rollout will take a few more months.

The company will also launch its Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in a few days, but it’s not any smartphone for February 13.
