The Redmi Note 6 Pro runs on Snapdragon 636 built on a 14nm process clocking at 1.8GHz coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. While Redmi Note 7 is powered by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC with up to 6GB RAM.
