The game for the higher RAM continues. Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 3 became the first smartphone in the world to come with 10GB of RAM. Soon, OnePlus joined the list with its own special edition 10GB McLaren 6T smartphone.

But, wait, things don’t end there.

Lenovo is reportedly working on a super-fast smartphone which may come with as high as 12GB of RAM. Yes, as per the rumors, Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast Edition is all set to become the world’s first smartphone to come with 12GB of RAM.

The Race For RAMs: Whopping 12GB This Time!

Lenovo is said to be working on a special smartphone which has some top of the line specs and features. The company may launch a special edition of the Lenovo Z5s, called the Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast. The information out on the internet hint at a 12GB RAM memory.

That makes the Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast Edition the world’s first smartphone to come with 12GB of RAM. The Lenovo Z5s and the Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast Edition are scheduled to launch on December 18.

The company previously used such fake rumors last time with Lenovo Z5, which turned out to be all false. So, it’s better to take this leak with a pinch of salt.

Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast: Specs & Details

The Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast has been spotted with a model number Lenovo L78071 online. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The device will run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box based on ZUI 10 skin on top.

A leak on Weibo shows three variants of the new Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast – Coral Orange, Quite Blue, and Starry Night.

There have been posters shared by Lenovo VP Chang Cheng showing the camera skills of the upcoming smartphone with a water drop styled display up front. The shared images hint at a 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio on the upcoming smartphone.

OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition vs Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast vs Mi MIX 3: The RAM Game

All the three smartphones run on different specifications, except for the common processor: Snapdragon 845. While OnePlus 6T runs on Oxygen OS, Mi MIX 3 has MIUI 10, the upcoming Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast will have ZUI 10 skin.

Higher the RAM, smoother will be the overall performance. But, optimization and processing play a major role in how smartphones work and run.

Both OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition and Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 offer blazing fast performance irrespective of any condition. Though, OnePlus 6T has Android Pie, while Mi MIX 3 has Android Oreo. Oxygen OS is slightly better due to less bloatware.

Coming to the new Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast, the smartphone will be using the top-graded LPDDR4X 12GB RAM. So in terms of hardware, there won’t be anything to complain, but the processing speed will depend on the Zen UI skin and system optimization.

The Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast Edition will launch on December 18 in China with a regular Lenovo Z5s variant.
