India’s biggest smartphone brand Xiaomi will be giving away Mi products for as low as Re 1 on its Mi store app. The company is hosting a Re 1 flash promotional sale where buyers can get Mi products at 50 percent off or at Re 1.
The sale is now live on the store under Mi 24 Hour Madness, available on the Mi store app for Android and iOS. You can buy Mi products from a select range at either flat 50 percent discount or at Re 1.

How To Get Mi Products For Re 1?
Users have to invite a certain number of friends to click to help to reduce the price. As users will keep inviting their friends, the prices of the products will go down up to 50 percent or down to Re 1. The flash sale is app-exclusive and in order to avail the discount, users need to participate in the sale via Mi store app for Android and iOS.
The Re 1 Mi Flash sale offer is applicable only to a few select Mi products only.
How To Participate?
In order to avail the Flash sale offer, buyers will need to register with a Mi account on the Mi store app.
As the users enter the app, they need to select the products they want to buy. Once they select the products, click on the ‘Participate Now’ option, followed by ‘Drop Price Now’ option. A unique link will be generated which they can share with their friends and family.
Similarly, these friends and family members have to follow the same steps to bring down the price of the products further. The sale includes Mi Products like Mi Band HRX Edition, Mi Earphones Basic, Mi Casual Backpack and more.
If they are able to get enough people to click on the link, they will get a flat 50 percent off or the prices will drop down to as low as Re 1. After a successful price drop, the selected products can be purchased at the specified price within 72 hours or 3 days.
Additional Rs 850 Coupon Package
Also, if the selected products run out of stock or if the task time is over, the unique link generated for the Mi Re 1 Flash Sale will stop working as well. Apart from the Re 1 Flash Sale, the company has also announced a special coupon package with the sale.
New users who will register with a new account on the Mi Store app will also be eligible for a special Rs 850 coupon package from Xiaomi India.
Xiaomi Confirms MIUI 10 & Mi 8 Launch On 31 May
To celebrate its 8th anniversary, Xiaomi will be hosting a grand launch of the Mi 8 and MIUI 10 on 31 May at an event in China. Xiaomi is also expected to launch its Mi Band 3 fitness tracker at the upcoming annual event as well.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 flagship will debut at the event as the company’s 8th-anniversary smartphone preloaded with the MIUI 10. Mi 8 will be the first smartphone to feature MIUI 10 which is expected to have been specifically modified to house display with a notch at the top.
The leaked images of Mi 8 has revealed that the Xiaomi flagship will come with a structured light 3D module, a bezel-less display with a notch at the top, Snapdragon 845 and a 3D face recognition feature like the Face ID on iPhone X.
The Mi 8 is expected to come in two variants;
- 6 GB RAM + 64 GB Storage
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Storage
The base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will be priced at around CNY 2,799 (about Rs 30,500). The higher variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will be priced at around CNY 3,199 (about Rs 34, 500).
