With the arrival of winter, there are going to be some exciting November 2017 smartphone launches happening. From Apple’s iPhone X to the latest Pixel 2 Duo, there are some big flagships lined-up for a November release.

November will see a bunch of latest smartphones making their way to India with the latest 18:9 screen aspect ratio displays, thinner bezels, better cameras and more features.

Xiaomi’s New Series

Xiaomi has sent out media invites for an upcoming launch event scheduled on 2nd November. The invite doesn’t carry any specific information. But their social-media handles are saying,  ‘a new series is coming’.

With this teaser, we can assume that a new series of Xiaomi devices will launch in India. The new series is expected to be selfie-centric smartphones, equipped with a front LED flash. Sadly, nothing else has been revealed, and nothing is known about the upcoming Xiaomi devices at this point, but among the probables list there are Mi Note 3, Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5A and flagship Mi 6.

OnePlus 5T

The Chinese smartphone maker launched their refined version of OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 3T last year in December. Similarly, this year too the company is expected to launch the OnePlus 5T in November. OnePlus 5T is expected to feature the same set of specifications as the OnePlus 5, with some upgraded features.

The OnePlus 5T is expected to come with a bezel-less 6 inch display bearing a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels along with an 18:9 display ratio. It is also expected to carry a bigger battery and better camera, though with the same form factor as OnePlus 5.

HTC U11 Plus

HTC is launching a new smartphone on November 2, the HTC U11 Plus which is an updated version of the HTC U11. It will feature a 5.99 inch display with Quad HD+ 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution. The device will feature a Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It will feature the signature Squeezable Edge Sense feature from the former HTC U11. It will come with a 12MP rear shooter, 8MP front shooter, backed by a 3,930mAh battery supported by Quick Charge.

OPPO F5

The OPPO F5 is ready to make its India debut on 2nd November. It will come with a 18:9 aspect ratio display. It will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Coming to optics, the Oppo F5 will come with a 20 megapixel front snapper and a 16 megapixel rear camera. The selfie-shooter will feature AI based Beauty Recognition feature, which will support 200 types of skin tone and beautification types. The Oppo F5 will be powered by a massive 4,000mAh battery.

Apple iPhone X

The pre-bookings have already started for the 10th Anniversary edition of the iPhone, sporting a radical new design. The phone will be available in India from November 3. It is going to be the most expensive iPhone till date! Other than the edge-to-edge display and the ‘Face ID’ feature, the smartphone will sport a 5.8 inch OLED ‘Super Retina’ display.

It will also feature the new, NPU-based A11 Bionic processor, 3GB RAM and a dual 12MP+12MP camera setup at the back. It will be available in two variants; 64GB and 128GB.

Google Pixel 2 & Google Pixel 2 XL

The next generation of Pixel smartphones will combine pure Android with top flagship-level hardware. The pre-bookings have already started. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be available here from November 1 and November 15, respectively. Apart from the display size and battery, the Pixel 2 duo offers same set of specifications.

The Pixel 2 will sport a 5 inch Full HD Cinematic display, while the Pixel 2 XL will sport a 6 inch Quad HD+ bezel-less display with an 18:9 display ratio. Both will carry a 2.35GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM, a 12.2 megapixel primary camera and an 8 megapixel selfie-shooter. It will be available in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB.

Moto X4

Motorola unveiled their mid-range Moto X4 back in the month of September at the IFA, Berlin. The Moto X4 was initially slated to launch on 3rd October, but got postponed to 13th November. The mid-range smartphone will carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 chipset coupled with Adreno 508 GPU and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It will sport a 5.2 inch full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass on top.

There’s a dual-camera setup of 12MP and 8MP RGB & monochrome sensors at the back. On the front, it’s a 16 megapixel shooter equipped with a front LED flash. Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, the Moto X4 will get powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It will come in 2 variants – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB.

With so many exciting releases happening in November 2017, it’s going to be an eventful month for smartphone enthusiasts.

    It will great to witness some cool innovative smartphones. I am only concerned with OnePlus 5T. Because OnePlus needs to prove it’s caliber again. With the launch of OnePlus 5, it lost the track with no so great camera and cheating in benchmarks. OnePlus is not the same as it used to be a year ago. All goes well for chinese company till OnePlus 3T and then blunder happened.
    As of now, Huawei is excelling other smartphones in terms of specifications and price together.
