The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled various new products in China, like the Redmi Note 12 series. During the event, the electronics major also released Xiaomi Book Air 13, which the company has teased to be the lightest and thinnest laptop of its line.

The laptop was launched on Oct 27, 2022. The device weighs around 1.2 kg and measures 12 mm in thickness.

Specifications of Xiaomi Book Air 13

• It is a 13.3-inch laptop, having an OLED screen and is Intel EVO certified, having a lightweight design, a long battery life and high performance.
• The screen resolution is 2880x1800px with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and an aspect ratio of 16:10.
• The laptop’s screen is equipped with a Gorilla Glass 3 sheet for additional protection and HDR 500 certified, with a Dolby Vision display.
• The display supports DC dimming against PWM, while covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color space.
• The laptop’s hinge must be brought into light as it provides a 360 degree hinge design having a touchscreen.
• In terms of sound, the Xiaomi Book Air 13 comes with a pair of Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, in addition with two tweeter speakers.
• Now, coming to the processor, the new Xiaomi laptop comes in two configurations – the Core i7-1250U CPU and the i5-1230U.
• Both the processor configs will provide RAM of up to 16GB LPDDR5 and storage of 512GB SSD.
• It runs on the Windows 11 OS and has a 58.3WHr battery cell that supports a 65W fast charging.
• The connectivity options include WiFi-6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and an audio jack.

Price Details

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 laptop’s i5 variant costs CNY 5999 or approximately Rs 68,336, while the i7 variant is priced at CNY 6999 in China, which translates to Rs 79,753.

At present, there is no word on whether or when Xiaomi Book Air 13 will launch in India.
