India To Vietnam In Rs. 9 Only!

This is a special offer by Vietjet Airlines, the international low-cost airline from Vietnam, where tickets are being given out at Rs. 9 only. The 30,000 promotional tickets are only available between August 15, 2022, and March 26, 2023.

This offer is valid on 17 routes from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad to four cities in Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc. As of now, Vietjet operates four flights per week between New Delhi/Mumbai and Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City. Vietjet will add eleven new routes beginning in September 2022.

Government officials and industry representatives from both countries met last week in Ho Chi Minh City for the India-Vietnam Tourism Promotion Conference, which was held on August 17 in Ho Chi Minh City to discuss how to promote inbound tourism from India.

The meeting, hosted by the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, was attended by Pham Van Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), and Pranay Verma, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam.

Low Priced Tickets To Boost Tourism Between India And Vietnam

Through a series of bilateral conferences and other activities, including sponsored business trips, Vietnam has actively encouraged Indians to visit their country. VNAT hopes that these activities will allow its travel industry to tap into a 1.4 billion-person market.

A direct flight from an Indian city to a Vietnamese city takes about five to six hours, but connecting through Bangkok or Singapore could increase the travel time to ten or twelve hours.

As many as 34 companies from India and Vietnam conducted discussions and shared information about tourism information in order to increase the demand for travel by Indians to Vietnam.

As of now, Vietjet Air and IndiGo operate a dozen or so weekly direct flights between cities in the two countries. Vietnam Airlines launched direct flights from New Delhi to the two major Vietnamese cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City twice a week and three times a week, respectively, in June.
