Hyundai’s New MPV: Stargazer Will Challenge Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Innova Crysta! Details Teased

Hyundai has released its upcoming MPV Stargazer in its production form which is expected to be rivaling the Maruti Suzuki Eartiga.

Hyundai MPV Stargazer Teaser

The MPV is claimed to target the South East Asian market and considered to be a spiritual successor to the Hyundai Trajet and looks premium.

From the teaser image, one can guess that the MPV drawing is  influenced from the Hyundai Staria.

If we talk about the styling of the MPV, it gets a full-width LED bar similar to the Staria.

Besides this, the other design elements include solid headlamps and a large front grille that covers the majority of the bumper.

The sleek taillights get LED treatment in the rear, further connected by a wide and slim LED bar positioned under the rear windscreen.

The stylish alloy wheel design too is visible with the tailgate bearing the Stargazer lettering.

Hyundai Stargazer Dimensions And Specs

So far, the front and rear profile of the Hyundai Stargazer has been revealed partially through the teaser images.

At the same time, the side profile or interior of the premium MPV still remains a mystery.

In terms of dimensions, this MPV comes measuring around 4,500 mm in length and a three-row seating arrangement inside the cabin.

The MPV is expected to come in six or seven-seater options.

Besides this, the Hyundai Stargazer could come based on the same platform that underpins the Kia Carens already introduced to the Indian market late last year.

This simply means that the upcoming Hyundai Stargazer to come powered by 1.5-litre petrol or diesel engines available in Hyundai’s portfolio.

The MPV could come with the transmission options that would include both manual and automatic units.

Hyundai MPV Stargazer Unveiling

The official unveiling of the Hyundai Stargazer MPV is expected sometime in July.

The MPV is most likely to be manufactured in Indonesia, where the automaker also manufactures Creta, Santa Fe and Ioniq 5.

Firstly, the car will be launched in the Indonesian market and later on it will come to India.

But be aware that the automaker is yet to reveal any details about the Hyundai Stargazer’s India entry.
