Hyundai Announces Unexpected Price Hike For Venue, Creta, and Alcazar Upto Rs 16,000! Check Details..
Hyundai India has jacked up the prices of a few of its models, including the Venue for the second time this year.
The smallest SUV in Hyundai’s lineup is Venue while Alcazar is a seven-seat version of the mid-sized Creta.

Second Hike Since Jan
The last time this happened was in January.
As is typical, the reasons cited have been rising operational and input costs.
The hike comes ahead of the launch of the Venue facelift.
Venue
The base price of the Venue E variant has been hiked to Rs 7.11 lakh, the highest percentage price hike of 1.72 percent
Other petrol-powered variants have seen a Rs 12,000 increase including those featuring the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine and the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol.
Consequently, the Venue petrol now ranges from Rs 7.11 lakh-11.82 lakh.
Its diesel version has been made costlier by Rs 12,100, except for the diesel SX trim.
So the Venue now starts at Rs 9.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.83 lakh.
The automaker has reportedly discontinued some variants of the Venue compact SUV like the S (O) IMT, Venue S (O) DCT, SX (O) IMT and Venue Diesel S (O).
Creta
The uber popular Creta has also been affected by the hike.
Its base and top-spec variants are dearer by up to Rs 21,100.
The petrol and diesel-powered variants have seen an increase of Rs 18,100.
All this takes the price of Creta’s petrol-powered variants starting from Rs 10.44 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 18.15 lakh.
Prices of the diesel-powered variants now start from Rs 10.91 lakh, and go up to Rs 18.18 lakh.
Alcazar
The Alcazar gets a uniform price increase of up Rs 10,000 across its petrol and diesel variants.
However, its top-spec diesel automatic Signature (O) 6- and 7-seater variant remains unaffected.
Post the hike, the automatic Platinum (O) 6- and 7-seater variants of the Alcazar will now cost Rs 19.88 lakh.
Therefore, the Alcazar petrol costs between Rs 16.44 lakh-19.99 lakh, whereas the diesel range is priced between Rs 16.85 lakh-20.14 lakh.
