Maruti Disrupts 7-Seater MPV Market In India By Launching New Ertiga At Rs 8.35 Lakh! Check Full Details..

Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated Ertiga.

It will come in both petrol and CNG variants.

It will be offered in four variants- LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.

Color options include Magma Grey, Pearl Metallic Arctic White, Prime Oxford Blue, Silky Silver, and Auburn Red.

Safety

Safety features include cruise control, four airbags, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist.

Retained features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted audio controls, keyless entry with push-button start, automatic climate control, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

Updated Engine

It runs on an updated 1.5-litre petrol engine updated with Suzuki’s DualJet with a mild-hybrid system which is paired to a new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox which also comes with paddle shifters.

The engine comes with start-stop technology and is also available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

It produces 103 hp and 136.8 Nm of torque.

Maruti Suzuki claims a mileage of 20.51 kmpl with the manual transmission option and 20.30 kmpl with the automatic gearbox.

CNG Option

The CNG option makes 87 hp and 121.5 nm of torque when running on CNG and 100 hp and 136 Nm of torque when running on petrol.

Its mileage is claimed to be  26.1 km/kg.

Bookings, Subscription Rates

Prebookings began earlier this month for an amount of Rs 11,000.

It can be availed through Maruti’s subscription services for Rs 18,600 onwards for the petrol variants and Rs 22,400 for CNG.  

It is set to compete against the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and facelifted Maruti Suzuki XL6.
