Check Full List Of Vistadome Trains For Each State: Passengers Are Loving The Experience!

The latest coach addition to Indian Railways’ network of rail coaches is the Vista dome coaches, which are specifically designed and enhanced keeping in mind the viewing experiences of Railways’ passengers.

In a written reply to a question asked in Rajya Sabha, the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that currently there were 45 trains being operated in the country with these Vistadome coaches, adding that the routes of trains with such coaches are decided on the basis of natural scenic beauty.

Vistadome Railways Coaches

The Indian Railways’ latest addition Vistadome coaches are designed to provide top class viewing experiences to the travelers, with features like glass rooftops, wide transparent windows panes, and complete 180? rotatable seats, among others.

Currently, there are 45 trains with Vistadome coaches running across the country and by March 2022, the Government aims to increase this number to 90 coaches, given the easing restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic would lead to greater footfall of travelers using the Indian Railways.

“The routes for running trains using the Vistadome coaches in the composition of trains are selected on the basis of the natural scenic beauty of the areas through which the trains pass,” marked Vaishnaw, in a reply in Rajya Sabha.
