Mahindra Will Invest Rs 3000 Crore To Make Electric Cars: These 3 New Electric SUVs Launching Soon!
Mahindra and Mahindra shall soon unveil its electric vehicle plans for India. The carmaker has teased three EV concept models, all of which appear to be SUVs.

Teaser Video Shared on Mahindra Social Media Handle
With only its headlight and taillight units prominently visible for all three cars in a silhouette, the teaser video was shared on Mahindra’s social media handles. There is a clear indication of the design language as well which suggests the Mahindra electric vehicles will look different from the existing ICE models.
Electric Vision – a new platform which will offer its entire EV portfolio of upcoming Mahindra electric cars were showcased as part of the carmaker’s Born Electric Vision. Pratap Bose, the man behind designing these concept vehicles is instrumental in changing how new generation Tata Motors cars look like.
It is at the carmaker’s new Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE) studio, UK that these Mahindra EV concepts are going to be developed.
Just after a day the carmaker announced that it will reveal its EV plans for India in coming days, the teaser video surfaced online. It is the second half of next year, fully electric version of its popular XUV300 will be launched.
Rs 3,000 crore To Be Invested
Around Rs 3,000 crore shall be invested to develop its electric vehicles, Mahindra has announced. As many as four SUVs in its ICE portfolio, shall be converted into electric cars in future. Other than XUV300, the other three showcased in the teaser video could well be XUV700, KUV100 and Bolero or Scorpio. However, full details about the new EV concepts will be known in coming days.
