Fully Vaccinated? Get 10% Discount On Air Tickets For This Airlines (How Will It Work?)

IndiGo has launched a new scheme in which vaccinated passengers receive a discount on their airfare.

Called Vaxi Fare, the scheme offers vaccinated passengers a 10% discount on the base fare.

The initiative seeks to encourage vaccination and incentivise it for travelers.

Requirements

Those who have used the discount must carry their COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Alternatively they can show their vaccination status as displayed on the Aarogya Setu mobile app at the airport check-in counter.

If they fail to do either of these, the then prevailing full fare and the applicable change fee must be immediately paid in order to avoid being denied boarding.

You Should Know

The offer is valid only for passengers 18 and above when they book a ticket on the IndiGo website.

It is applicable to one-way, round-trip and multi-city domestic flights on select fare types.

It is not applicable to IndiGo’s group bookings.

The vaccination discount is applicable for tickets booked 15 days in advance of the travel date.

How To Avail

Select Vaxi Fare.

While entering your arrival and departure destination, choose the Vaxi Fare option.

Select First or second dose, whichever you’ve received to proceed.

Choose preferred flight.

Select your onward and return flight option and continue.

Enter Beneficiary ID details.

A valid beneficiary reference ID is mandatory. Add the details here.

Booking complete.

Vaxi Fare has been successfully applied, and your booking is complete.

Carry the required documents during travel.

If you fail to display your vaccination status, boarding may be denied.
