Tata, Maruti Offer Upto Rs 60,000 Discount On These Cars; Kia Carnival Expensive By Rs 54,000!

Effective January 1st, prices of Kia vehicles will go up

Major carmakers are offering new year discounts on some models in India.

Tata Motors

Like many others, the company had announced price hikes for its vehicles in the country.

In order to offset that, it has rolled out discounts.

Tata Tiago

Tata Tiago gets a cash discount of Rs. 10,000 this month, along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 on MY2021 models.

The exchange bonus is lower on the latest MY2022 models at Rs. 10,000 but the cash discount is the same.

Tata Tigor

A cash discount and an exchange bonus worth up to Rs 25,000 and Rs 20,000 are on offer on 2021 Tigors and 2022 Tigors, respectively.

A corporate discount of up to Rs. 10,000 is also on offer.

There are no deals currently on offer on the EV variant.

Tata Nexon

While the Tata Nexon is not on discount this January, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 is on offer.

That applies to only diesel variants.

There’s also a corporate discount worth Rs 5,000 for the Nexon petrol and Rs 10,000 for the Nexon diesel variant.

Tata Harrier 

The 2021 model year Harrier gets a cash discount and exchange bonus of up to Rs 60,000.

The 2022 Harrier is offered with an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000.

A corporate discount up to Rs 25,000 is also available.

Tata Safari

All variants of the 2021 model get an exchange bonus and cash discount worth up to Rs 60,000.

For the 2022 model year, buyers can get up to Rs 40,000 exchange bonus.

Tata Altroz

Dealerships are offering a corporate discount worth up to Rs 10,000 for the Altroz diesel and Rs 7,500 for the naturally aspirated petrol variant.

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki is also offering discounts on several of its passenger vehicle models.

Maruti Suzuki Swift, Eeco, Dzire, Wagon-R, Alto all have the following offers:

  • Cash discount of Rs 10,000
  • Exchange bonus of Rs 10,000
  • Corporate discount of Rs 3,000

S-Presso

  • Cash discount of Rs 15,000
  • Exchange bonus of Rs 15,000
  • Corporate discount of Rs 3,000

Celerio

  • Exchange bonus of Rs 10,000
  • Corporate discount of Rs 3,000
  • No cash discount

Vitara Brezza

  • Cash discount of Rs 5,000 
  • Exchange bonus of Rs 10,000
  • Corporate discount of Rs 3,000

It should be noted that discounts vary from city to city and are subject to availability of stock.

Kia Cars Get Costlier

Effective January 1st, prices of its vehicles will go up due to rising costs of manufacturing and transportation.

Its India lineup presently comprises only 3 models- Sonet, Seltos, and Carnival.

Sonet

The Sonet is now dearer by Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 10,000 on its petrol variants.

The diesel variants are hiked by Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 24,000.

It now costs between Rs. 6.95 lakh to Rs. 13.69 lakh.

Seltos

For the petrol variants, the hikes range from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 11,000.

The hikes on the diesel variants are in the range of around Rs. 9,000 to Rs. 10,000.

After the price hike, it now costs between Rs. 9.95 lakh to Rs. 18.19 lakh.

Carnival

The company’s flagship model in India is now costlier by around Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 54,000.

With this, its price is now upwards of Rs. 25.49 lakh to Rs. 29.49 lakh.
