Google’s Big SMS Innovation: Share Videos, Images Via Simple SMS! How Will It Work?

There is a new report regarding a feature where users can share videos using Google Photos, according to 9to5Google’s newest APK Insight report. 

Google Messages, the default SMS/RCS app for Android, maybe get a new feature that allows users to share videos using Google Photos if RCS isn’t accessible.

Google Messages Have This New Settings Preference 

So “Google Photos: Share crisper clarity video in the text (SMS/MMS)” is a new setting preference in the beta version of Google Messages 10.4.

So it works this way, the recipient will receive a Google Photos link to click and watch a video from the sender, according to the description of this setting.

What About Other Possibility?

So recipient who receives a Google Photos link via the Messages app will be able to watch the high-definition video directly from the chat window.

Videos no longer deserve to be drastically compressed and delivered over an out-of-date protocol.
