TCS’ 15-Day Free Digital Certification Course Can Help Get Job, Build Profile For IT Career

TCS launched a 15-day self-paced digital certification programme called Career Edge last April, specifically designed for college students and working people to improve their career skills by assisting them in making the most of the time available during the lockdown.

TCS iON’s ‘Digital Glass Room’ is a free virtual learning platform available to educational institutions all around the world. According to a TCS release, the curriculum is followed by an online digital exam and certification on the TCS iON Digital Learning Hub platform.

What It Will Cover?

The curriculum in TCS iON Career Edge – Young Professional is provided over 14 modules and covers important behavioural and communication skills as well as core abilities in Accounting, IT, and Artificial Intelligence.

Each module is 1-2 hours long and includes videos, presentations, reading material, recorded webinars by TCS experts, and end-of-module self-assessments to ensure that it is current and industry-aligned.

“The programme consists of nano videos, case studies and assessments that will help the learners to understand and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. Career Edge also carries useful recorded webinars hosted by TCSers to make it interesting and practical. The program can be accessed anywhere, anytime on any device – cellphones, laptops, desktops and tablets,” it said.

Discussion Portal To Clear Doubts

Like most of them, this course too has an assessment for evaluation, it checks on how much depth one has regarding the concept. A personalised certificate is provided once the course is over.

Learners have access to a monitored online discussion board where they can ask questions and offer ideas.
