Poco and OnePlus will be clashing horns with each other with Poco F3 GT and OnePlus Nord 2 respectively. Poco has been throwing banters at OnePlus and their upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 phone stating Poco F3 GT will be a better device. Both the upcoming smartphones launch a day apart. OnePlus Nord 2 launch date has been confirmed, it’s on July 22 while Poco F3 GT India launch will happen a day later on July 23.
Both the devices are going to pack a set of super specifications, and all ready to set the entry premium category on fire.
Poco F3 GT will essentially be a rebranded gaming phone by Redmi, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. On the other side, OnePlus Nord 2 will be a bridge between the newly launched OnePlus Nord CE 5G and OnePlus 9R in India.

Coming to Poco F3 GT specifications, the Poco F3 GT will have the similar specs as Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition apart from the brand. The company has confirmed Poco F3 GT will come with Dolby Atmos and dual stereo speakers for advanced audio quality. On the display front, it will come with a 120Hz Super Smooth AMOLED display with support for HDR 10+. The upcoming Poco phone will feature a glass sandwich design using a series 7000 aluminium for the chassis.
In India, Poco F3 GT will be available in Gunmetal Silver and Predator Black colour variants with slipstream design for an anti-fingerprint matte finish.
Poco F3 GT will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
In terms of optics, Poco F3 GT will have a triple-camera setup at the back powered by a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront, the device will feature a 16MP unit. Poco F3 GT will be backed by a 5,056mAh battery, 67W charging speed and 5G connectivity.

OnePlus Nord 2 will come with a hole-punch cut out display and a similar OnePlus 9 series inspired camera bump. It will have narrow bezels on three sides with a thin chin, volume rocker is on the left, power button on the right with an alert slider. OnePlus Nord 2 will come with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display offering 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ certified.
The upcoming OnePlus smartphone will run on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G SoC. The OnePlus phone will come in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. In terms of optics, OnePlus Nord 2 will have a triple rear camera setup.
The three rear camera system will have a 50-megapixel newly upgraded Sony IMX766 sensor, same as the OnePlus 9 Pro along with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel secondary sensors. The original OnePlus Nord had quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.
OnePlus Nord 2 is said to pack a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor inside a single punch-hole. OnePlus Nord 2 will be backed by a bigger 4,500mAh battery over the 4,115mAh unit from last year’s model, same as the newly launched OnePlus Nord CE 5G. The 4,500 mAh unit with support for 65 Warp Charge fast charging technology.

In an interview with India Today, Poco India head Anuj Sharma said that Poco F3 GT price in India will stay around “Rs 30,000” in the country. Poco has officially confirmed the Poco F3 GT India launch on Twitter, to be unveiled in the country in July. It’s the first ever gaming-centric phone by the brand.
Poco F3 GT Flipkart availability is also expected to be confirmed soon with a dedicated page listing on the e-commerce site.

In terms of costing, OnePlus Nord 2 price is expected to stay in the same mid-range to entry-level premium category.
