Now Another OnePlus Nord 2 Blasts In A Week, What’s Wrong With OnePlus?
OnePlus phones are exploding. Just after the first OnePlus Nord 2 blast was reported, another unit has now reportedly exploded, MySmartPrice reported. A Twitter user named Shubham Srivastava tweeted about the blast (later deleted the tweet). Unlike the first OnePlus Nord 2 blast incident, the second one is yet to be verified. The user did not post any pictures of the burned OnePlus Nord 2 unit, and yet to be confirmed.
As the tweet goes, the OnePlus Nord 2 unit that was bought by the user for his father.
The OnePlus Nord 2 exploded while it was on the bed, which also caused the bedsheet to burn.
The user further complained that a stick was used to throw the burnt OnePlus Nord 2 out of the room. The brand said it has reached out to the Twitter user to further investigate the blast matter.
It’s the second OnePlus Nord 2 blast news in less than a week. In the previous incident, OnePlus said that it was “an isolated incident involving external factors and not due to any manufacturing or product issue.”
The first OnePlus Nord 2 blast took place a week before, and it was just five days old. The second OnePlus Nord 2 unit which caught fire is also said to be a few days old only. The company just unveiled the smartphone in late July, and OnePlus Nord 2 first sale took place during the Amazon Prime Day sale on July 26.
The first reported OnePlus Nord 2 blast cussed the user physical injury and trauma. OnePlus investigated the matter and concluded that “the damage to burnt OnePlus Nord 2 was caused by an isolated incident which involved a number of external factors and not due to any manufacturing or product issue.” It’s not even three weeks since the company unveiled OnePlus Nord 2, and two OnePlus Nord 2 phones have already exploded.
