Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Maruti Suzuki Celerio is all set to launch its new second-gen model that has already been spotted testing on numerous occasions. The first-gen Maruti Suzuki Celerio was the most affordable automatic car to go on sale in the country when it was Launched back in 2014. The new Celerio is expected to be joined by the larger and more potent 83hp 1.2-litre K12 unit from the Wagon R. Along with this, the current BS6-compliant 1.0-liter three-cylinder K10 unit.

Hyundai Alcazar

Hyundai will be launching the Alcazar in the third week of June 2021. The petrol variant is equipped with a  2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine from the Elantra sedan and the Tucson SUV which will put out 159 Ps and has 192 Nm of torque.

The diesel engine variant is a 1.5-litre diesel engine that has 115 Ps and a torque of 250 Nm. Both are combined with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox which will transmit power to the front wheels alone.

Skoda Kushaq

Skoda Auto’s Kushaq compact SUV will be launched in India in June. The SUV will be fitted with two petrol engines. Technically, the Skoda Kushaq SUV will be offered by selecting two petrol engines – a 1.0 liter three-cylinder TSI and a 1.5 liter four-cylinder TSI. While the first one will be considered to generate 113 bhp of maximum power, the latter will bind 147 bhp. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox with a 6-speed automatic transmission (1.0-Liter TSI) and a 7-speed DSG (1.5 liter TSI) gearbox.

New-gen Skoda Octavia

The fourth generation of the much loved Skoda Octavia is all set to make its debut in the Indian automobile market. There will be two engine options on this car –  1.5-litre unit paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 2.0-litre engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. A fixed date of launch is yet to be announced by the company.

Volkswagen Taigun

This is a mid-size SUV from the German carmaker and will compete against the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The car’s design and styling is based on the global-spec VW T-ROC SUV. The car comes with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, all-digital instrument console, connected car technology, wireless charging, electrically adjustable drivers’ seat, automatic AC, sunroof and cruise control.
