Asus ZenFone 8 series has been officially confirmed, it will launch on May 12. Asus may unveil three devices powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. The new addition to the series, a toned-down ZenFone 8 Mini will also launch, a trend as OnePlus 9R or iPhone 12 mini. The series has been leaked on a number of occasions, and Asus ZenFone 8 Mini will launch alongside ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Pro. The specifications have been spotted on Geekbench.

Scheduled to launch on May 12, the company has officially put up a timer. 

The launch teaser confirms the upcoming Asus flagship would focus on some top-end performance in a compact size.

The previous reports claimed Asus will be launching three devices this year under the ZenFone 8 lineup. While the company hasn’t yet confirmed anything, the compact flagship will likely be called the ZenFone 8 Mini.

Asus ZenFone 8 India Launch: Will It Come This Year?

The Asus Zenfone 8 launch date has been officially confirmed, it will happen on May 12. Though, we are yet to know where the devices will be available. It’s still unsure whether Asus will launch the new ZenFone 8 phones in India or not. It could be made available on the same day, or the company may hold another launch event for India, expected in a few weeks.

Asus ZenFone 8 Mini Specs, Features: Asus ZenFone 8, 8 Pro

Asus ZenFone 8 Mini specs have already been spotted on Geekbench. The upcoming Asus flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will feature a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display offering 120Hz refresh rate without any notch or bezels. The device will follow the same design with the camera, a revolving 64-megapixel camera setup. 

Both the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Pro will also be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC, with larger screens, maybe a few more features and batteries. Though, the rest of the hardware and is expected to remain on all three smartphones.
