Air India’s New Owners: Tata, Adani Or Hinduja? Bid Deadline Expires Today, No Extension
As per reports coming in, it’s now absolutely clear that Air India’s new owners will be either Tata Group, Adani Group or the Hinduja family.
Meanwhile, Aviation Ministry has made it clear that the deadline for bidding process related to Air India’s sale won’t be extended anymore.

Tata, Adani, Hinduja: Who Will Own Air India?
The final deadline for the bidding process of Air India sale ends today, that is December 14th.
As per the available information, the final contenders for acquiring Air India are Tata Group, Adani Group and Hinduja family.
No other major player exists as of now, who wish to acquire Air India.
Govt plans to sell 100% of their stake in Air India, Air India Express and 50% stake in Air India SATS Airport Services, a joint venture with Singapore-based ground handling firm SATS.
Bidding Deadline Wont Be Extended Anymore
After extending the bidding deadline for almost 2 years now, Govt has laid its foot firm, and have informed that the bidding deadline wont be extended anymore.
Hence, December 14th shall be the last date for bidding/.
However, the intimation date for the bidders have been extended till January 5th, which was earlier November 29th.
As we had reported earlier, some Air India employees too have shown interest to acquire Air India, and carry on their operations.
Around 200 employees are planning to pool in Rs 100,000 each, and onboard a major investor to acquire Air India, and run their operations.
