After reports came in that Google Pay will charge extra money from Indian users for transferring money into their bank accounts, Google has finally offered clarification.

No, there will be no extra charge for Indian users of Google Pay for transferring money.

This is what Google Pay has informed to all.

No Extra Charge For Transferring Money Via Google Pay

Google Pay has clarified that Indian users need not pay anything extra for transferring money via Google Pay, to their bank account.

Hence, all money transfer using Google Pay in India will be free.
After Google Pay’s new design and new features were launched, reports came in that Google Pay will charge extra for transferring money from their wallet to their bank account.

But, as per the clarification, this charge will be applicable only for US customers, atleast as of now.

Google said, “These charges and fees are specific to the US and do it apply to the Google Pay or Google Pay for Business apps in India.

Big Changes Coming In To Google Pay

Starting in the US, Google Pay has announced some big, massive changes in their app.

While the web version will be totally killed off, paving way for mobile-only version of their payment apps, there is a new charge on the money transfer being done from their wallet to the bank account.

Speculations were rife that this charge for money transfer will be applicable for India as well, which has now being denied.

Besides, there are several design related changes as well for the new version of Google Pay, for both Android and iOS versions.
