A new Redmi Smartwatch will soon be launching soon with a square dial. Xiaomi is said to be bringing the Mi Watch Lite to India as a rebranded smartwatch. The Redmi smartwatch was recently teased by the company GM Lu Weibing on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, while we are yet to know anything about the specifications.
The Redmi smartwatch will be launched in China, expected in India later.
The Redmi Smartwatch is said to be a rebranded Mi Watch Lite which was earlier spotted on a US FCC listing in October. The company is all set to unveil the Redmi Note 9 5G series, and the Redmi Watch will be announced at the same event, as per the reports.
Redmi Smartwatch India Launch When?
The Redmi smartwatch will be unveiled in China alongside Redmi Note 9 5G series, and it’s expected in India later, probably a month from now or so. The Redmi smartwatch will come with a square dial. The rumours suggest it to be a rebranded Mi Watch Lite, which is also supported by the FCC listing last month data with the model number REDMIWT02.
If it’s a rebranded Mi Watch Lite, the Redmi Smartwatch will come with a 1.41-inch HD color display, built-in GPS, 24-hour heart rate tracking, water-resistance up to 50 metres, swim stroke recognition, fitness modes and a 230mAh battery.
Xiaomi will unveil the new Redmi Note 9 5G series phones in China, and the Redmi Watch will be launched at the same event. The Smartwatch itself is a toned-down Mi Watch with all the upgraded features.
Redmi Note 9 5G, Note 9 Pro 5G: Specs, Features
Xiaomi M2007J22C is said to be the Redmi Note 9 5G. It has a CPU that goes up to 2.4GHz, reported to be MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. There will be three variants: options with 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB, 256GB storage. The device has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 5,000mAh battery.
At the back the device will come with a 48MP main sensor and a front 13MP camera inside the punch hole on the upper left corner.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G with model number M2007J17C will probably be a remodelled Mi 10T Lite 5G. The device will come with Snapdragon 750G with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will come with 108MP main camera and the 16MP front sensor.

Redmi Note 9 series prices are out. As per the leaked details, Redmi Note 9 5G will be known as Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition. Redmi Note 9 5G price will start at CNY 1,000 (around Rs 11,000) for the base model. Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be called Redmi Note 9 High Edition.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G price will start at CNY 1,500 (around Rs 17,000) for the base model. The new Redmi Note 9 phones will come with 5G. The upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G devices will be one of the most affordable 5G phones in the market.
