According to Amazon, Kindle devices were sold 2.5 times on the first day compared to the overall sales of last year. Amazon Fire TV Stick and the all-new Echo (3rd Generation) are one of the top 10 selling products on Amazon India during the sale period.
Amazon claimed that 85 percent more people subscribed to Prime, and the early access to the GIF sale helped surge the sale. The flat discount on iPhone 11 at Rs 47,999 helped Amazon reach the feat. Coming to Alexa, as per the e-commerce company, devices at people’s places answered around 1 million requests during the sale.

Made in India iPhone 12 is said to start at Rs 49,999, bringing down the production cost and import costs by a sizable margin. Leaked documents by Brazilian telecom regulator Anatel indicate that some of the iPhone 12 models will be directly manufactured at the Foxconn facilities of India and Brazil.
