Tata Consultancy Services’ TCS iON Launched “Remote Internships” For Students 

TCS iON has launched ‘Remote Internships’, a digital platform for internships that will act as a bridge between students and corporates and their mentors as well.

Venguswamy Ramaswamy, Global Head, TCS iON, said, “We are excited to launch this product just in time for the summer internships, and bring the industry and students together on a single digital platform.” 

The company intends to enable “streamlined and uninterrupted learning” for interested students on the topics that are trending in the industry so that students will earn their academic credits despite the situation created by the pandemic.

The internship program will be for students who have graduated from engineering, science, and business streams. It has a structured framework that aligns with the guidelines issued by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

TCS’ Remote Internships: All You Need To Know!

Companies will post their internship opportunities on this program and students can browse through these and apply for the ones that they are interested in. Credits for these will be awarded as per the internship or project that is chosen. 

This internship programme by TCS will also offer students with industry-curated learning material, projects, videos, or webinars. Students can also share and communicate with their peers and mentors about any innovative idea that they have come up with using a proper social format. 

More than 100 internship programmes have been designed and curated on the platform on the day of the launch itself. Also, there are multiple domains from which students can choose their pick.

This progamme will also enable academic guides to track the progress of each student in order to give them academic credits accordingly. They cna also conduct exit tests and add up viva voce scores.
