In a big development, Air India has announced starting of domestic flights for stranded passengers.

After the lockdown started from March 25th, this will be the first time that domestic flights will resume.

However, there are some exceptions, and this is not a start of full-blown operations.

Air India Will Start Flight: What You Should Know

Air India will start the flights only between May 19th to June 2nd.

These flights will be operated to ferry stranded passengers, across the different cities of India.

We do not know as of now whether the flights will be resumed after June 2nd or not, and whether other private airlines too will start the flights or not.

, Air India will send flights across 31 nations, and this start of domestic flights is part of this evacuation mission’ itself. India.com reported: “However, the carrier is not seeing this as the beginning of the domestic operations as yet. According to the report, senior Air India officials are considering this as part of Air India’s evacuation operations that have been going on”

Flights from Delhi will start for these cities:

Jaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Amritsar, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Vijayawada, Gaya, Lucknow.

Flights from Mumbai will start for these cities:

Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada.

Flights from Hyderabad will start for these cities:

Delhi, Mumbai

Flights From Bengaluru will start from these cities:

Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad.

These flights will also assist international travellers, NRIs, tourists who have reached India from various countries, and right now stranded across Delhi, Mumbai and other cities.
