OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro Launched: India Price, Full Specs, India Availability And All You Need To Know

OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro have been unveiled. Here’s the OnePlus 8 India prices for the standard and top model including all the specs and other important information. Alongside OnePlus 8 series, the company also unveiled the OnePlus Wireless Bullets Z.

OnePlus 8 series comes with a slew of upgrades in terms of design language and specifications. From 120Hz display to quad rear cameras to faster Dash Charge, there’s a lot to look out for on the newly launched OnePlus 8 devices.

Both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be available in two storage configurations. The base model will come with 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage capacity respectively. OnePlus 8 price starts at $699, so the OnePlus 8 India price may start at Rs 53,090 (converted).

So, the OnePlus 8 expected price in India for 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant may start at Rs 49,999. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage OnePlus 8 model will cost $799 (around Rs 60,690).

The OnePlus 8 Pro price starts at $899, so the OnePlus 8 Pro India price will be roughly around Rs 68,250 for the 8GB model. The OnePlus 8 Pro expected price in India could be at around Rs 60,000.

Coming to OnePlus 8 Pro price in India for the 12GB variant, it will be available for $999. It starts at around Rs 75,880 if converted, so the expected OnePlus 8 Pro price in India for the 12GB model is around Rs 70,000. OnePlus 8 devices in India will be available via Amazon India, set to go on sale starting April 19.

OnePlus 8 features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display in a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with HDR 10+ support and 3D corning gorilla glass on the out. The display supports sRGB, Display P3 color profiles and 90Hz refresh rate display with an in-display fingerprint sensor.  

The latest OnePlus phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm flagship chip, the Snapdragon 865 paired with Adreno 650 GPU.

OnePlus 8 series will run on the latest Android 10 with the streamlined OxygenOS on top. The device packs dual stereo speakers with support for noise cancellation backed by Dolby Atmos. 

Coming to optics, OnePlus 8 comes with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and 0.8 ?m pixel size supporting Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).

The main sensor pairs with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 116-degree field of view.

The three camera setup further includes a 2-megapixel macro camera with 1.75 microns pixel size and f/2.4 aperture. The OnePlus 8 camera is further assisted by a dual-LED flash supporting PDAF and contrast-based autofocus.

Upfront, OnePlus 8 features the same 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor from the predecessor with f/2.45 aperture and fixed focus and EIS. OnePlus 8 packs a 4,300mAh battery with support for Warp charge 30T (30W fast charging).

Coming to the top model, OnePlus 8 Pro version features a 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED display in an 19.8:9 aspect ratio. It’s a HDR 10+ display offering Quas HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus 8 Pro display also supports sRGB and Display P3 color profiles with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus 8 Pro is also powered by the same latest Qualcomm flagship chip, the Snapdragon 865 paired with Adreno 650 GPU.

OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. The four camera setup on OnePlus 8 Pro includes a primary 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor with f/1.78 aperture and 1.12 microns pixel size with support for OIS and EIS.

The second sensor is also a 48-megapixel lens which offers ultra-wide-angle capabilities. It has an f/2.2 aperture and a 119.7-degree field of view.

The third sensor on the OnePlus 8 Pro camera is an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and OIS. Finally, the fourth is a 5-megapixel color filter sensor with f/2.4 aperture supporting PDAF, laser auto-focus, CAF, 3X optical zoom and dual-LED flash.

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be available in India around the same time as the global availability. OnePlus 8 devices in India will be available via Amazon India, set to go on sale starting April 19.

Due to the lockdown in India, the company may hold up the deliveries till May.
