Whatsapp has now confirmed that legal action will be taken against those, who are abusing the terms and conditions of the platform.

And this includes spammers as well.

Meanwhile, as per some reports coming in, Whatsapp will soon bring a battery saver mode for all users, which will work in tandem with dark mode.

But, there is a catch here, if you are an Android 10 user.

Whatsapp Will Take Legal Action Against Spammers

Spamming is one of the biggest problems which Whatsapp users face: Unsolicited messages, mass messages using tools etc are increasing.

These are prohibited as per Whatsapp’s terms and conditions.

Now, the violation of these terms and conditions will be dealt with law.

Whatsapp has confirmed that any violation of law will be dragged to the Court.

In their blog post, Whatsapp said, “We are committed to reinforcing the private nature of our platform and keeping users safe from abuse. We recently detailed our on-platform capabilities to identify and ban accounts in this white paper,”

Anyone who send bulk or automated messages will now have to face legal action from Whatsapp.

Whatsapp’s Battery Saver Option Coming Soon

The app: Whatsapp, along with Facebook is known to be a battery sucker on Android smartphones. This is the reason Facebook launched Facebook Lite few years back for offering a toned-down version of their app.

Now, Whatsapp will soon launch a battery saver mode, which will help Android users to save battery, without disrupting their chatting.

As per WABetainfo, Whatsapp is planning to integrate dark mode with the battery saver mode.

Hence, users would be able to select a battery saver mode on their smartphone, which will bring on dark mode for the users, to save battery. This will be part of Android Version 2.19.353.

Now, there is a catch: This will be automatically done for Android 10 users (dark mode on with battery saver option), but for Android 9 and lower versions, users will have to manually select the dark mode on battery saver option.

It is expected that Whatsapp willl introduce few more options to save battery for Android users.
