Xiaomi unveiled the latest Redmi Note 8 series phones in China which included two devices as the predecessor series: Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Both the new Redmi Note 8 series smartphones will launch in India in 8 weeks, probably in early November.

The regular Note 8 smartphone will start at under Rs 10,000, while Note 8 Pro will be priced at around Rs 14,000 in India.

Vivo will be unveiling the new Z1X smartphone in the country this week on September 6 with some new features and better specs. OnePlus 7T series leaks continue to pour in, and OnePlus 7T Pro is said to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chip with some minor changes.

Vivo Z1X

Unlike Vivo Z1 Pro, the new Z1X will come with a water-drop styled notch with narrow bezels on the sides and slightly thin chin. Vivo Z1x will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC as Z1 Pro. The smartphone will come with a 6.38-inch Full-HD Super AMOLED display, to come in two storage options upto 128GB storage with upto 6GB of RAM. The device will come with a triple camera system featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide angle sensor and a third depth-sensing camera.

Upfront, Vivo Z1X will include a 32-megapixel selfie camera as the current Z-series Vivo smartphone. Vivo Z1X will feature a 4,500mAh battery supporting 22.5W Vivo FlashCharge technology and an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

Redmi Note 8

Redmi Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ screen offering 90 percent screen-to-body ratio with a dot drop notch inside a glass sandwich body, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Redmi Note 8 comes with a quad rear camera setup featuring a primary 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 2MP depth sensor, 8MP Ultra Wide lens with 120-degree depth view and a 2cm Macro lens. Upfront, Redmi Note 8 comes with a 13MP selfie camera.

Redmi Note 8 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with upto 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone will come with the same 4,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging support running on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 starting at Rs 10,000 (converted).

Samsung Galaxy M30S

The rumoured Samsung Galaxy M30S has been listed on Google’s official Android Enterprise directory now, revealing some key specs as the 6.4-inch Infinity-U Full HD+ display with 4GB of RAM and  64GB and 128GB of internal storage options. Galaxy M30s will run on Android 9 Pie with One UI on top with a similar body design as the M30 with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Galaxy M30S will run on the new  Exynos 9610 chip with a triple camera system at the back.

The triple camera setup on Galaxy M30S will include a 48MP primary sensor, an ultra wide-angle lens and a depth sensor. The smartphone is said to pack in a mammoth 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. Galaxy M30S will be priced at around Rs 16,000 in India.

Redmi Note 8 Pro

Redmi’s budget gaming beast Note 8 Pro comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ screen offering an immersive 91.94 percent screen-to-body ratio with a 3D curved CG5 glass sandwich body. It comes with a dot drop notch up front that equipped with a 13MP selfie sensor. Redmi Note 8 Pro also comes with a quad camera system at the back. Note 8 Pro comes with the 64MP camera. The Redmi smartphone features a primary 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 2MP depth sensor, 8MP Ultra Wide lens and 2cm Macro lens.

Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with the newly launched MediaTek Helio G90T processor with upto 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with a larger 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging support running on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10. Redmi Note 8 Pro starts at Rs 14,000 (converted).

Vivo NEX 3

Vivo will unveil its third generation Vivo NEX 3 series on September 16. The new NEX 3 series will include two smartphones, a regular variant with 4G network support and a top model with 5G support. A first of its kind, Vivo NEX 3 will come with a special Waterfall Display that will offer a seamless immersive screen resolution of 2256 x 1080 pixels offering 99.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, the maximum for any smartphone available commercially currently on earth.

Vivo NEX 3 will come with a triple camera system powered by a primary 64MP sensor, secondary 13MP sensor and a third 13MP sensor. Vivo NEX 3 will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus with upto 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

OnePlus 7T Pro

The next OnePlus smartphone leaks are out wide in the air, and the company may launch its first 64MP camera sensor with OnePlus 7T Pro. The live images are already out, and the smartphone will be powered by the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chip. The design will remain the same without some minor changes in the inside. OnePlus 7T series is being rumoured by multiple sources to be launching on September 26 in India. The 7T series sales are supposed to start from mid-October. 

OnePlus will definitely be adapting the latest 64MP camera technology, we don’t know when. It could be OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro or a smartphone next year. The company will also be unveiling its first SmartTV in India in September.

iPhone 11

Apple will unveil three smartphones under the latest iPhone 11 series: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The company has officially confirmed that the devices are launching on September 10 with the iPhone 11 succeeding the XR model. iPhone 11 is being rumoured to start at $749, which translates to around Rs 53,750. The smartphone will see an upgrade over the current list of features with a newly improved processor, better display, rear dual camera system, better camera and thinner bezels.

Coming to the other two iPhone 11 devices, iPhone 11 Pro will start at $999, which is around Rs 71,750 and finally iPhone 11 Pro Max will start at $1099 (around Rs 78,850). In India, the iPhone 11 prices will differ, and the India launch of the new iPhone 11 models will happen in week from the initial global launch.
