PUBG Lite is coming to India

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is finally rolling out its lite feature in one of the biggest markets for the battle royale game. After launching in countries like Hong Kong, Taiwan, Bangladesh, and Brazil, the lightweight version of the game is finally launching in India, confirmed the official PUBG Lite Facebook page.

The official launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet but many speculate it could be launched by the end of this month during the Steam sale around June 25.

Reason Behind Launching The Lite Version

The PUBG lite is a toned down version of the Hit Battle Royale Game which has been tailor-made for the Low- end PCs.  The PUBG Lite has expanded to 15 countries as of now with majority of them being Asian countries.

The Game had become an immediate hit and had achieved mass player base and one of the reasons in it being a hit is due to the game being free while its PC Version needs an initial purchase.

It was announced that around 10 Million People play PUBG mobile on a daily basis which is a huge number for Mobile Gaming and the numbers seem to only go up.

Hence it was only a matter of time before PUBG Lite made its way to the country. It coaxed in many players who felt left out due to hardware limitations

PUBG Lite is targeted at gamers who want to enjoy gaming on a modest PC hardware and hence won’t require a dedicated GPU to get the high-grade experience as an integrated one should be sufficient to run the game smoothly.

PUBG Lite arriving in India is a blessing to Indian fans who tend to suffer due to connectivity issues throughout the country and another reason being the popularity of lower-end smartphone in the country   

Also, it is believed that the original battle royale map, Erangel is getting a complete renovation. The exact nature of changes has not been revealed yet but one can expect graphical and mechanical changes to the map.

Bug Fixes are also part of these updates.

Possibly all these changes are done to get players back to where it all began!
