Vivo’s Z-Series Smartphones First Look

After being one of the top brands in the high-end smartphones alongside Oppo and OnePlus, Vivo is now planning to enter the budget smartphones segment with its Z series smartphones.

While previously, the Chinese smartphone brand failed to take online sales series seriously, it is already putting in efforts to make amends. The Z series will be available for sale exclusively on the online e-commerce platforms, and Vivo is in talks with them currently. Also, this series will be available on Vivo’s official site as well.

Apparently, Vivo is planning to launch the Vivo Z5x smartphone as a debut venture to mark its entry in the budget-level smartphone segment.

However, the news has not been confirmed officially yet.

Also, a leak has emerged that reveals some important pictures of the upcoming Vivo smartphone.

The phone that is shown in the leaked pictures is navy blue in colour and seems sleek and shiny at first look.

Vivo Z5x will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and comes with Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pi.

The Z5x has four variants:

  • 4GB RAM + 64GB
  • 6GB RAM + 64GB
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB

However, as per sources, only two variants of this phone will be available for sale in India, the 4GB and 6GB.

The display of the phone will have an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and the display will be 6.53-inch full-HD+ screen. The resolution of the screen will be a 1080 x 2340 pixel.

Camera

The phone will have a triple camera set at the back, with 16 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP camera sensors. For the selfie camera, the Z5x will have a 16 MP selfie camera. The camera also has a LED flash.

The camera too, flaunts some nice features such as AI beauty, AR shoot.

Features

Vivo Z5x will be equipped with numerous features, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and A-GPS. There will also be a fingerprint sensor on the back panel of the phone.

The battery of the phone is non-removable, and will be a massive 5000 mAh capacity, with Dual-Engine 18W fast charging support too.

The phone is expected to launch later this month, i.e on 21 June 2019. The price of the phone is rumoured to be Rs. 14,090, for the 4 GB + 64 GB internal storage variant.
