Redmi K20 To Keep Its Name in India

Xiaomi has already launched the K20 series smartphones, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in China. But there has been confusion about the K20 series being launched with different names in different countries. Manu Kumar Jain, global Xiaomi VP and head of Xiaomi India has announced via Twitter that the phone will be launched as Redmi K20 only. Also, posters have been put up all over India that target the OnePlus 7 flagship that has been recently launched.

Xiaomi Shows Under Display Selfie Camera in a Video

Xiaomi has yet another innovative development to its name and is competing with Oppo for the same. Xiaomi’s co-founder and president Lin Bin has put up a video that shows a working under display selfie camera. The phone in the video is notchless and also shows that the selfie camera is functioning well. In the video is a comparison between Xiaomi Mi9 and a notchless Xiaomi Mi 9.

Oppo Reveals Prototype of Under Display Camera Technology

Oppo has shown off the prototype of an under display camera technology in a video shared by the Vice President of the company, Brian Shein. The video clip was uploaded to Weibo, a Chinese microblogging platform, by Shen and does not give out many details. It functions similar to the in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone which will have this technology will come without a notch, teardrop, hole punch, pop-up, or a sliding mechanism.

AnTuTu’s Top 10 Best Performing Phones

AnTuTu, the popular benchmark platform has released the list of the top ten best performing phones for April 2019. Around 100 units of each model were tested to verify the performance. The top three phones are Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition, Xiaomi Mi 9 and Black Shark 2. Other phones in the list are the nubia Red Magic 3, Zte Axon 10 Pro, Meizu 16s, OnePlus 7 Pro, Lenovo Z6 Pro.

Huawei Mate 30 Series Specifications Leaked

Huawei is prepping to launch the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro later this year. A leak has emerged ahead of the launch that reveals a few key specifications of the phones. Apparently, the Mate 30 series will have a Kirin 985 processor and will have HongMeng OS in China. The Huawei Mate 30 series will be launched on September 22, will have a 5G-ready chipset and a 5G modem. The phone is also rumoured to have a 6.71-inch OLED screen.

Nokia 6.2 To Be Launched in India

HMD Global is all set to launch the Nokia 6.2 smartphone in India during the event that will be held on June 6. However, days ahead of the launch, the phone’s price has been leaked already. As per the leaks, the phone’s 4 GB variant will be priced at Rs. 18,999. This is not a traditional leak, but a Google search only. Google showed a similar result when a user searched for the Nokia 6.2 through a Google Ad.
